August 2014 @madame_duchamp and I were texting and started an exchange of “One Emoji per Artist”. I’ve run with the ball for this year’s Delaware Fun-A-Day (a daily creative exercise for February which ends in a great group show at Center for Creative Arts in March). For years I was an organizer but this year I have stepped back and am only participating. The grand opening is March 8th – see all the matches there – or check out my Instagram – @bitterlivingthroughchemistry . I also provide examples of the artist’s work which “proves” of why that emoji suits the artist.
Wayne Thiebaud was @madame_duchamp first inspired pairing of artist and emoji. (6×6 pencil/ink/gouache 2/19)
